666 ESTIMATING THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST OF THE APOCALYPSE 

Read to the end, after thinking about each verse. 

Here is wisdom. He who has understanding calculate the number of the beast; it is the number of a man, and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. 

Revelation 13:18 

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of mockers. 

But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. 

Psalm 1:1-2 

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his heads seven diadems. 

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth; and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child. 

Revelation 12:3-4 

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection; has no power over these the second death; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 

And eventually when the thousand years, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 

And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, whose number is as the sand of the sea, to gather them together to battle. 

Revelation 20:6-8 

Now the dragon took with the third part of the stars, ie a third of the angels of God. Thus God became two-thirds of the total. 

A government of a thousand years on the remaining two-thirds will exactly six hundred sixty-six, under the rule of Jesus Christ, and the arrest of 1,000 years of Satan. 

Otherwise obseve: 2/3 x 1000 = 0.666 x 1000 = 666.
